Information we collect
When you use the contact form on this site, we collect whatever you enter: your name, business name (optional), email address, and the contents of your message. We don't collect payment details, and we don't ask for more information than we need to respond to your enquiry.
How we use it
We use the information you submit solely to respond to your enquiry and, if you choose to go ahead, to discuss and deliver a website project with you. We do not sell, rent, or share your details with third parties for marketing purposes, and we do not add you to any mailing list without asking first.
Our legal basis for processing this data is legitimate interest, responding to a direct enquiry you've chosen to send us.
Third parties who process data on our behalf
- Web3Forms: the service that delivers contact form submissions to our inbox. Web3Forms processes the data you submit only to route it to us and does not use it for its own purposes. Their privacy practices are set out on their own website.
- Google Fonts: this site loads typefaces from Google's font servers so pages display correctly. As part of that request, your browser sends your IP address to Google. No cookie is set by this request.
- Google Analytics: used, only if you accept the cookie banner on this site, to understand in aggregate how visitors use the site (e.g. which pages are viewed). IP addresses are anonymised. If you reject or ignore the cookie banner, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google Analytics.

How long we keep your data
We keep contact form enquiries only as long as needed to respond to you and for a reasonable period afterwards for our own records, typically no longer than 24 months, after which they're deleted.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to ask us what personal data we hold about you, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to how it's used, and to receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email enquiries@seensmith.com.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

We may update this policy from time to time as the site or our practices change. The version published here always reflects our current approach.
